Grimaldo chasing Filipe Luis record

Grimaldo has five goal contributions this season and is chasing Filipe Luis's record for most goals by a defender under Simeone.

Grimaldo continues to impress in Atlético Madrid's attack from the left flank, having already contributed to five goals this season. The Valencian winger is on course to challenge Filipe Luis's club record for most goals scored by a defender under Diego Simeone, who holds the mark with ten. Carrasco, Llorente and Lino are among the other fullbacks producing significant attacking numbers for the club.
