Tottenham set sights on new Morgan Gibbs-White move - 'I'm told...'

Tottenham plan to revive their interest in Gibbs-White if Nottingham Forest allow him to leave, with De Zerbi keen to add an attacking midfielder.

Tottenham are monitoring Morgan Gibbs-White's situation at Nottingham Forest and would move to sign him if he becomes available, according to former Spurs scout Mick Brown. Gibbs-White has been a long-term target for Tottenham after they failed to complete a deal in 2025, when they faced legal action before he signed a new contract with Forest.

Forest's poor start to the season—just one win from nine games—has raised questions about the 26-year-old's future at the club. Roberto De Zerbi is keen to strengthen his attacking midfield options, and Gibbs-White is viewed as an ideal fit for his tactical approach. Brown told Football Insider that if Gibbs-White decides to leave, Tottenham will be "first in line" for him, having monitored him closely for an extended period.

Gibbs-White has attracted interest from multiple clubs in England and Europe and could be tempted by the prospect of European football if Forest's struggles continue.
