Real Madrid's problem: at least Bayern and Barcelona don't have anyone like that

Matthäus criticises Vinicius for his attitude and ego, claiming Real Madrid functions better without him.

Lothar Matthäus has renewed his criticism of Vinicius Junior, telling Real Madrid to take action against the Brazilian winger. The German football legend declared that the team performs better without him, describing Vinicius as problematic and detrimental to the club's image.

Matthäus contrasted Vinicius unfavourably with Harry Kane, praising the Bayern Munich striker's professionalism and gentlemanly conduct. He suggested that neither Bayern Munich nor Barcelona have players with similar issues to Vinicius.

The former Bayern player went further, calling Vinicius "the problem of Real Madrid" and highlighting his ego and body language as damaging to team unity and discipline. Matthäus expressed hope that Real Madrid's president would take action, either by reprimanding the player or having him benched.
