Arsenal injury update: Riccardo Calafiori, Declan Rice, Noni Madueke latest news and return dates

Rice trained Monday but missed Fleetwood with a knock; Madueke has an ankle issue from Everton; Calafiori picked up a minor problem; Saka forced off against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal face Liverpool on Sunday with multiple injury concerns. Declan Rice trained on Monday but was absent from the Fleetwood squad due to a knock sustained against Everton; Arteta will provide an update at his pre-Liverpool press conference Friday. Noni Madueke missed the Fleetwood trip with an ankle injury from the Everton match, leaving Arsenal short in wide areas alongside Max Dowman's three-match suspension. Riccardo Calafiori was introduced off the bench against Everton but picked up a minor issue in stoppage time and faces a race against the clock to prove his fitness for Anfield. Bukayo Saka was forced off early in the Bayern Munich Champions League match after going down clutching his left leg, with the full severity of his injury still to be determined.
