Can Celestini repeat his Basel success at Burnley?

Swiss journalist Lucas Werder draws parallels between Celestini's Basel turnaround and his new Burnley challenge, citing his ability to lift struggling clubs.

New CSKA Moskva head coach Fabio Celestini faces a tough start in English football with the Clarets sitting 22nd in the Championship. Swiss football journalist Lucas Werder believes Celestini's experience could prove valuable, comparing his current situation to his time at Basel. When Celestini arrived at Basel, the club was at the bottom of the table despite being the country's biggest side. He secured their survival in his first season and won the title in his second. Werder told BBC Radio Lancashire that Celestini's proven ability to rebuild struggling clubs from the bottom could bring hope to Burnley fans.
