Danny Buijs is on the verge of becoming Fortuna Sittard's most successful manager in Eredivisie history. The 43-year-old currently shares the record with Bert van Marwijk, both having won 36 Eredivisie matches in charge of the club. Buijs can break the record this Saturday when Fortuna face Feyenoord away. Van Marwijk, now 73, visited Fortuna Sittard's stadium for a double interview with Buijs, who played under him at Feyenoord earlier in his career. Van Marwijk, dealing with joint pain and arthritis from his long football career, graciously made time for the interview despite rarely doing media appearances these days.
