Sánchez Flores: "I don't see cracks in Barcelona"

Alavés manager Sánchez Flores says Barcelona have no weaknesses ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash at Camp Nou, but warns his side can still find a way to surprise them.

Deportivo Alavés manager Quique Sánchez Flores held his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Saturday's La Liga visit to Barcelona's Spotify Camp Nou (21:00 CET). He acknowledged that Barcelona are a reference point in the league and Europe, executing their patterns of play at the highest level, but insisted that does not mean opportunities won't emerge for his team.

Sánchez Flores described the fixture as "a match of the highest demand" and praised Barcelona's attacking positioning and improved defensive patterns. He expressed confidence that Alavés will have chances during the game and must be clinical in front of goal while conceding as little as possible.

The Alavés squad has not played since their Copa del Rey tie was postponed following a train accident in Toledo. Sánchez Flores confirmed the starting XI for Camp Nou would be unchanged had that match gone ahead. He also backed striker Toni Martínez, who is yet to score this season, saying he improves daily and will match or exceed last season's goal tally.
