Martin O'Neill shoots down Celtic squad revolt claim - but reveals what actually worries him

O'Neill denies dressing room unrest after McGregor and Carter-Vickers criticized Celtic's tactics, but admits concerns over recent form of three wins in nine.

Martin O'Neill has dismissed claims of a squad revolt at Celtic following recent criticism from players about the team's gameplan. Callum McGregor and Cameron Carter-Vickers both spoke out after Wednesday's draw with Dundee United, with Carter-Vickers questioning the 'random' approach at Parkhead.

O'Neill insisted the squad remains united despite a run of three wins in nine games, which includes defeats to Rangers in the Old Firm and a Europa League loss following Champions League elimination. He acknowledged agreeing with McGregor's assessment but said he is not concerned about internal dissent or negative reaction from supporters on social media.

Celtic remain four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership ahead of tomorrow's trip to Falkirk. O'Neill said he is pleased with progress given several players arrived late in the transfer window and have not yet fully integrated, though he admitted the squad is not yet complete.
