Allegri crystal clear before Juve: "It's not a dead team, and we must stay quiet and work"

Allegri insists Juventus are not finished ahead of Turin derby, urges his Napoli side to focus on work rather than talk.

Napoli manager Max Allegri held his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Juventus in Turin, emphasizing two key points: that Juventus remain a strong side despite their current league position, and that his team must stay quiet and focus on their work.

Allegri acknowledged the importance of the fixture, noting both teams are currently behind in the standings and need to improve. He stressed that while Napoli have won their last match at Monza, they must improve their defensive phase and ball management. "Juventus are not dead as people are painting them," Allegri said. "They're strong, they have a good coach, and in difficult moments teams usually compact. It will take aggression, technique, and a bit of luck."

On squad availability, Allegri confirmed Rrahmani will play if fit, with Beukema or Marianucci as alternatives. Anguissa's participation depends on his recovery from flu, while Lobotka is expected back in six weeks. Allegri also reflected on Serie A's increased attacking play this season, suggesting the numbers will rebalance by March when points truly matter for the title race, European competition, and relegation.
