Pacheta praises Eldense ahead of Sunday's match

Pacheta praised Eldense ahead of Sunday's match, calling them a well-organised side with good players, but said Granada are in excellent form and aim to extend their winning run.

former Granada manager José Rojo 'Pacheta' praised Eldense in his pre-match press conference on Saturday, acknowledging their quality and recent form. He noted that Eldense have "good footballers who move well in space" and their recent success—winning four of their last five matches—is "no coincidence." Pacheta highlighted Eldense's manager Javi Calleja and described them as "a very recognisable team."

However, Pacheta emphasised that Granada are in "a very interesting dynamic" following five consecutive wins (four in the league, one in the Copa del Rey) and intend to maintain that momentum at the Nuevo Pepico Amat stadium. He credited the team's success to their collective strength, saying "all the players are always ready to work and play." Pacheta also noted Granada have alternatives available despite Jose Arnaiz's injury absence, and praised the performance of regular substitutes in Thursday's 3-0 Copa victory over Cieza. He described striker Jorge Pascual, who has scored four goals in the last five matches, as "differential" and said he is experiencing "the best moment of his career."
