Kane was celebrated by Bayern Munich fans before the Klassiker against Dortmund, five days after winning the 2026 Ballon d'Or.

Harry Kane was honoured by Bayern Munich ahead of Saturday's Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund, five days after winning the 2026 Ballon d'Or at the ceremony in London. The Bavarian club deployed a large circular banner in the centre circle bearing Kane's number 9 and "Ballon d'or winner" in golden capital letters, alongside photos of the 33-year-old striker in Bayern colours.

Kane entered the Allianz Arena pitch last, holding his trophy, and received a warm ovation from Bayern supporters—the first time one of their players has won the Ballon d'Or since Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in 1981. A banner bearing his image was also hung around the television tower near the stadium. Bayern officials, his family, and German national team manager Jürgen Klopp were present for the moment.

Visibly moved, Kane addressed the crowd: "I am extremely proud to be a Bayern Munich player. Thank you so much for your support, without which I would not have been able to achieve what I have achieved. This Ballon d'Or is for you." He then played in Bayern's match against Dortmund, his first game as a Ballon d'Or winner.
