Bosz praises PSV's effort and picks the evening's best goal: 'I've never seen them finished like that'

PSV thrashed Willem II with seven different goalscorers in an Eredivisie match, the first time since 2000 they've achieved this feat.

PSV delivered a dominant performance against Willem II on Saturday, with manager Peter Bosz praising his team's energy and commitment throughout the 90 minutes. The Eindhoven side's most notable achievement was having seven different players find the net in a single Eredivisie match—a feat not accomplished since 2000.

Bosz highlighted the team's relentless approach as the standout feature. "The energy of the team is what I'm most proud of," he told ESPN. "I asked for it and I saw it for ninety minutes. Even when we were well ahead, they kept hunting for the ball and trying to score the next goal." He emphasized that this mentality had to come from the players themselves rather than tactical instruction alone.

When asked to pick his favourite goal from the seven scored, Bosz selected Sven Mijnans' effort. "I haven't seen them all again yet, but Sven Mijnans' goal—the whole attack and how he finishes it, he strikes it well. I enjoy the whole move, but I've never seen them finished like that. That wasn't my doing. That's why they get to play for PSV."
