'Real striker' Pepi back at PSV: 'Makes a fresh impression'

Pepi returned from injury to score and assist in PSV's win over Willem II, giving Bosz a natural striker option again.

Ricardo Pepi made his return from injury for PSV on Saturday against Willem II, coming off the bench to make an immediate impact with a goal and an assist. Manager Peter Bosz expressed satisfaction with the American's comeback, noting that PSV now has a genuine striker option again after weeks of using Sven Mijnans in an unfamiliar role up front. Pepi had been sidelined with injury problems in recent months but showed he is ready to contribute.
