Sources: Update on Morgan Gibbs-White to Tottenham in January

Tottenham continue to monitor Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White ahead of a potential January move, with the 26-year-old playmaker having scored 13 Premier League goals since the start of 2026.

Tottenham remain interested in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White in January, according to sources. The 26-year-old has been on Spurs' radar for some time after a failed move in summer 2025, when Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis accused Tottenham of making illegal contact with his representatives.

Gibbs-White subsequently signed a new three-year contract with Forest and changed agents in August. He has since been linked with moves away and is the leading scorer among Premier League midfielders in 2026, having netted 13 times in the top flight since 1 January.

With Roberto De Zerbi under pressure at Tottenham following a poor start to the season, the club may look to strengthen in the January window. Forest's own struggles—winning just one of their first nine competitive matches—could make Gibbs-White available, though manager Oliver Glasner's position is also under scrutiny.
