Antonio Hidalgo stays quiet on Aubameyang

Hidalgo previews Osasuna's tactical shift under Arrasate and declines to confirm Aubameyang's availability.

Deportivo manager Antonio Hidalgo analysed the changes at Osasuna following Jagoba Arrasate's appointment, noting the new coach will bring a more intense, pressing style compared to predecessor Luis Miguel Ramis. Hidalgo highlighted that Arrasate's previous spell at the club six years ago means several current Osasuna players are familiar with his methods, potentially shortening their adaptation period.

Despite Deportivo's six-game winless run, Hidalgo believes his side are performing well and creating chances, but need to improve efficiency in both boxes. He stressed the importance of stopping the losing streak quickly as mid-table rivals gain ground.

On Aubameyang's fitness, Hidalgo remained non-committal, saying the striker is taking steps in his recovery and will signal when he is ready to return, but the club will not rush him back.
