Juventus-Napoli, Landucci: "They deserved it, now we must stay quiet and work"

Napoli lost 2-0 at Juventus Stadium; interim manager Landucci acknowledged Juve's superiority and called for focus on Wednesday's Champions League trip to Porto.

With Allegri suspended, Napoli assistant Marco Landucci took charge as Napoli fell to a 2-0 defeat at Juventus Stadium. Landucci was candid in his assessment, telling DAZN: "We had a poor second half and Juve deserved to win. When you lose you stay quiet and go home."

Napoli made a strong start but collapsed after the break, with injuries to De Bruyne (ankle) and Di Lorenzo adding to their problems. Landucci refused to use the absences as an excuse: "It's true we had injuries, but that's not an excuse. We all could have done better in the second half."

Looking ahead, Landucci stressed the need for action over words ahead of Wednesday's Champions League fixture in Porto: "Now we need to stay quiet and prepare for Wednesday. The only way is to keep working. We need to see what we got wrong and try to fix it."
