"They've overcome the fear", Riolo praises OM's streak but predicts brutal collapse on Thursday

Riolo praises OM's four-game winning streak but warns of fragility; expects heavy defeat at Leverkusen in Europa League on Thursday.

Marseille has won four consecutive Ligue 1 matches after a difficult spell, beating Toulouse 2-0 on Sunday to climb to sixth place with 12 points from the run. The victories came after four straight defeats against European contenders earlier in the season.

Commentator Daniel Riolo acknowledged the positive momentum but expressed reservations about the team's underlying quality. He noted tactical adjustments in midfield with younger players alongside Hojbjerg and Timothy Weah showing more energy on the flank, but stressed that core problems may not be resolved. Marseille conceded 14 shots against Toulouse despite winning, raising concerns about defensive solidity.

Riolo predicted a heavy loss at Bayer Leverkusen in Thursday's Europa League fixture, where OM has already lost all three group matches (4-1 to Besiktas, 0-1 to Olympiacos, 1-0 to Graz). A trip to second-placed Lens on Sunday will provide another test of whether the improvement is genuine.
