Rangers starlet labelled 'game changer' as Sebastien Pocognoli details what 'special talent' brings to Scotland

Scotland manager Pocognoli has praised Rangers midfielder Curtis as a special talent capable of making an impact at international level.

Sebastien Pocognoli has backed Rangers youngster Findlay Curtis to become a game-changer for Scotland. The 20-year-old, who featured in Steve Clarke's World Cup squad, has impressed the new Scotland boss with his performances both at club and international level. Curtis earned his first call-up under Pocognoli in September and subsequently had four assists in one U21 match against Azerbaijan, prompting his recall to the senior squad. He came off the bench against Slovenia and remains involved for the upcoming Nations League fixtures against North Macedonia and Switzerland.

Pocognoli highlighted Curtis's ability to impact matches from the bench, noting that Rangers' midfield and wide players like Andy Robertson and Aaron Hickey provide a strong foundation. The manager also confirmed James Penrice's first Scotland call-up following his loan move to Rangers from AEK Athens, with Josh Doig unavailable for the international window.
