Mercato: "It would be an immense dream", Ibrahim Maza makes big pitch to PSG

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Maza told RTL/Sky Sport Deutschland that playing for PSG would be "an immense dream", but the Parisian club has no plans to bid for him this winter.

Ibrahim Maza, the 20-year-old Algerian international midfielder at Bayer Leverkusen, has expressed his desire to play for PSG in an interview with RTL/Sky Sport Deutschland. When asked about his ambitions, Maza said: "Of course, it would be an immense dream to play one day for such a prestigious club. I think we all know how great Paris Saint-Germain is. It's one of the best in the world, alongside Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal. Playing for a club like that is an objective I'm working towards, like many other footballers."

However, sources indicate that PSG has no interest in pursuing Maza this winter and will not make an offer for the player during the January transfer window. The club has made clear internally that there is no ambiguity about bringing him in during the upcoming market. If Paris does decide to recruit, it will not necessarily be for an attacking position following Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's injury.

Maza has impressed this season with Bayer Leverkusen, recording four goals and three assists across all competitions. The Algerian international, who has 24 caps and 3 goals for his country, will next face another French club, Marseille, in the Europa League on Thursday at 21:00.
