Hearts lose Miller for two months as injuries mount
Summarised by MatchPal
Miller requires knee surgery and will miss two months; Magnusson out until after the international break with concussion.
Calvin Miller suffered a knee injury requiring surgery in Hearts' 2-1 Premier Sports Cup semi-final defeat to Hibernian on Sunday and will be sidelined for two months. Midfielder Thomas Magnusson was also forced off after just 14 minutes with concussion and will be unavailable until after the international break.
The injuries add to Hearts' mounting casualty list, leaving head coach Wouter Vrancken with only 19 players available for Thursday's Conference League match against Thun in Switzerland — six short of the normal squad maximum of 25. Hearts now have 10 first-team players sidelined through injury.
