Spain U-17 manager David Cubillo names 21-player squad for Qatar World Cup, featuring Athletic's Imga, Real Madrid's Enzo Alves, and Barcelona prospect Tunkara.

Spain U-17 manager David Cubillo has announced a 21-player squad for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, aiming to win the only major youth title missing from the Spanish Football Federation's cabinet in the men's categories.

The squad features several players already making an impact in professional football, including Holmes Jr at Girona and Cristian Imga at Athletic. It also includes top academy prospects such as Enzo Alves from Real Madrid and Ebrima Tunkara from Barcelona, whom the club compares to Lamine Yamal.

Cubillo initially called up 25 players, with four designated as reserves. Spain's group stage campaign begins on November 20 against China, followed by matches against Fiji on November 23 and Morocco on November 26. The tournament features 48 nations, with the top two from each group and eight best third-place finishers advancing to the round of 16. The final takes place in Doha on December 13.
