Arsenal 'track new forward signing' after Mikel Arteta transfer targets revealed

Arsenal tracking RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa as a January target, though Leipzig view him as key and are unlikely to sell mid-season.

Arsenal have added Antonio Nusa to their transfer shortlist ahead of the January window, according to reports. The RB Leipzig winger, who can play on either flank, has impressed this season with six goals and seven assists in 14 appearances across all competitions. The 21-year-old Norway international scored in Leipzig's 3-2 Champions League defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday.

However, a move is expected to prove difficult. Leipzig view Nusa as a key player and do not want to sell him mid-season. The Bundesliga club's financial position is also strong after selling Yan Diomande to Real Madrid for around £120 million in the summer, meaning they face no pressure to cash in on the winger.
