Flick's two solutions to replace Rodri

Flick's main options to replace Rodri are Frenkie de Jong and Marc Bernal, with the Dutchman having more experience against Atlético Madrid but the academy product showing more goal threat.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has two primary options to cover for Rodri's absence: Frenkie de Jong and academy graduate Marc Bernal. De Jong has faced Atlético Madrid 13 times across all competitions, posting a record of 7 wins and 4 losses against the Madrid club, including 8 La Liga meetings where he has won 5 and lost 2. However, Flick has not used de Jong in La Liga since his arrival, with the midfielder sidelined by gastroenteritis and a thigh injury in recent weeks. Bernal, despite limited appearances, has been more prolific in recent outings, scoring twice in the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Atlético Madrid in a 3-0 victory.
