Roma injury list: Rensch out, Koné decision pending for Sassuolo

Rensch ruled out with adductor injury; Koné has recovered from thigh problem but selection depends on France's Nations League plans.

Roma's injury list remains extensive ahead of Sunday's Sassuolo match. Defender Rensch suffered a first-degree adductor injury during Manchester United's Champions League tie and will miss the Sassuolo game, returning after the international break. Midfielder Koné has overcome his thigh muscle problem but faces a selection dilemma: if he plays against Sassuolo, France may call him up for Nations League fixtures including Italy; if he stays on the bench, he is more likely to remain at Roma to fully recover. Manager Gasperini and the medical staff will decide together. Gollini is expected to start in goal despite lingering back pain, with Vasquez as backup. Dybala and Pellegrini remain sidelined but should be available when Serie A resumes after the international window.
