Nico Paz's move identical to Zidane's: impressive video goes viral on social media

A viral video compares Nico Paz's skill against Torino to Zinedine Zidane's 2006 move for France, though the Zidane footage's authenticity is uncertain.

A video circulating on social media places side-by-side a technical move by Como's Nico Paz from a match against Torino in 2026 and a skill attributed to Zinedine Zidane when playing for France against Spain in 2006. The two sequences show striking similarities: identical ball control, the same touch, and an elegant sombrero flick to beat the defender. The comparison has gone viral, though questions remain about whether the Zidane footage is authentic or has been recreated or altered using artificial intelligence.

Regardless of the montage's authenticity, the parallel highlights Paz's exceptional talent. The Como playmaker continues to impress with his technical quality, ball control sensitivity, and ability to create uncommon plays.
