former Belgium manager Mark van Bommel has recalled PSG winger Mika Godts and AZ goalkeeper Jari De Busser for the Nations League fixtures against Turkey and Italy. Godts impressed in Belgium's recent match against Italy and came off the bench to help PSG beat Olympique Lyon, though he faces competition from Jeremy Doku's return.

Two new faces join the squad: Monterrey striker Hugo Cuypers makes his debut as cover for Romelu Lukaku, who is on a yellow-card warning ahead of Thursday's match in Izmir. The other debutant is 20-year-old RC Genk defender Josué Kongolo, who replaces AC Milan's Koni De Winter, who declined selection after limited playing time at the World Cup and previous international break.

Belgium sit fourth in the Nations League with six points. They face Turkey on Thursday in Izmir before closing their campaign against Italy three days later at the Heizel. France lead the group with ten points, Italy have seven, and Turkey have lost all four matches.
