ADO interim Schwiebbe: 'I'm sure Steijn can shake things up'

Schwiebbe takes interim charge at ADO Den Haag after Robin Peter's sacking; Maurice Steijn among candidates to replace him permanently.

Levi Schwiebbe has been appointed interim manager of ADO Den Haag following the dismissal of Robin Peter. Schwiebbe, who served as Peter's assistant, described the week as "very hectic and chaotic" after the managerial change. He spoke emotionally about Peter's departure, saying the sacking affected them both personally. "Robin is just a nice, kind man," Schwiebbe said. "Beyond the fact that we worked brilliantly together last season, it touched us both."

Maurice Steijn is among the candidates being considered to permanently replace Peter. Schwiebbe, who knows Steijn well, expressed confidence in his ability to stabilize the club. Schwiebbe will lead ADO in their next fixture this weekend.
