Fabregas: "For us every match is a maturity test. Inter are the strongest in Italy"

Fabregas says Inter are Italy's strongest side ahead of Sunday's clash, though Como have come close to beating them before.

Como manager Cesc Fabregas previewed Sunday's Serie A match against Inter, describing it as another maturity test for his side. "Every week is an exam for us," Fabregas said in his pre-match press conference. "Inter is the strongest in Italy. We've come close to beating them three times, but when they raise their level they become too strong."

Despite the challenge, Fabregas expressed confidence in Como's approach. "We must play our football, do our things, as we have done so far. Without nervousness or pressure. From the best I never stop learning." He acknowledged Inter's pedigree as Italian champions and Coppa Italia winners with two Champions League finals to their name.

Fabregas also highlighted positive news from the international break: Liberali and young forward Cassano have been called up by Italy manager Mancini, while defender Ramon will represent Spain for the first time. Fabregas announced that prospects Papaccioli and De Paoli will travel with the squad for the Inter match.
