Hugo Sotelo and his return to Vigo: "It's a special week for me"

Sotelo returns to Balaídos for the first time in Levante colours after recovering from a knee injury sustained months ago.

Levante midfielder Hugo Sotelo spoke ahead of Sunday's visit to Celta Vigo at Balaídos, a ground where he previously played. The Galician midfielder will face his former club for the first time wearing different colours.

"It will be my first time playing in that stadium with another shirt. It's a special week for me. I'm very happy to live it and I hope the match comes soon," Sotelo said. He acknowledged the difficulty of playing away at Vigo but stressed the importance of Levante securing three points to record their first away victory of the season.

On a personal note, Sotelo confirmed he has recovered well from a knee sprain suffered a couple of months ago and has been training normally with the squad for several weeks. He also paid tribute to Jesús de Miguel, whose recent death deeply affected the Levante squad.
