Blessin on Itakura's red card: "Then you look foolish"

Blessin admits he should have substituted Itakura earlier after the defender's red card in Gladbach's 1-3 loss to Hamburg.

Borussia Mönchengladbach manager Alexander Blessin took partial responsibility for Ko Itakura's red card in the club's 1-3 defeat to Hamburger SV. Blessin acknowledged he should have withdrawn the Japanese defender from the pitch earlier in the match, suggesting the substitution might have prevented the dismissal.
