Battle for Gladbach goal: Batz applies maximum pressure

Batz impressed again despite Gladbach's 3-1 loss in Hamburg, putting pressure on manager Blessin to decide between him and the regular goalkeeper.

Borussia Mönchengladbach goalkeeper Daniel Batz delivered another strong performance in the 3-1 defeat to Hamburg, continuing to make a case for regular playing time. Despite the heavy loss, Batz's display has created a selection dilemma for manager Alexander Blessin ahead of the international break. The goalkeeper will need to make a difficult decision on who starts in goal when Gladbach return to action.
