Lens - OM: Genesio praises Paixao's "clear progress" and defensive efforts

Genesio praised Paixao's defensive contributions and overall progress this season, highlighting his work rate alongside Garcia on the left flank.

Igor Paixao, who was linked with a move away from Marseille during the transfer window, has impressed manager Bruno Genesio this season. The French coach singled out the winger's defensive efforts and marked improvement, noting that Paixao has been working like a "fifth defender" to support left-back Ulisses Garcia. Genesio emphasized Paixao's "clear progress" and credited his commitment to the defensive side of the game as a key asset for the team.
