Tolu pays cameraman's speeding fine

Ajax striker Tolu Arokodare paid a cameraman's speeding fine after rescheduling an interview caused the crew member to rush and break the speed limit.

Ajax striker Tolu Arokodare made a generous gesture after learning that an ESPN cameraman received a speeding fine. The incident occurred when Tolu rescheduled an interview with the broadcaster, forcing the cameraman to rush to Ajax's training ground at De Toekomst. During the hurried drive, the cameraman exceeded the speed limit and was stopped by police, receiving a fine.

When Tolu found out what had happened, he immediately took responsibility. "It's my fault, so I'll pay for it," he told the cameraman. "Email me the fine. I had said a different time and then I was late again. So, sorry." The cameraman accepted the offer, and Tolu covered the cost of the penalty.
