Stephen Robinson vows to fight for Aberdeen future as Dons fans turn on under fire boss in Hibs trashing

Aberdeen manager Robinson vowed to fight for his job after a 4-0 home defeat to Hibernian left the Dons 11th in the Premiership, with angry fans chanting for his sacking.

Stephen Robinson faced intense pressure from Aberdeen supporters after a humiliating 4-0 home loss to Hibernian. Fans chanted "You are getting sacked in the morning" and directed abuse at players during the match, with captain Kevin Nisbet ironically cheered when substituted.

Robinson accepted full responsibility for the performance, calling it "unacceptable" and acknowledging the team fell apart after conceding. He noted Aberdeen created chances but failed to convert them, while Hibernian took four of five or six opportunities. The manager said he had heard nothing from chairman Dave Cormack about his future but insisted he would keep fighting: "I've got belief in my ability. You don't have 500 games if you don't."

The defeat leaves Aberdeen 11th in the Premiership table. Robinson also reported fresh injury concerns, with Connor Ronan limping off with a hamstring problem, adding to existing squad issues over recent weeks.
