Boca champion 1,347 days later

Enner Valencia scored in the 53rd minute to secure Boca's first title in 1,347 days, winning the 2026 Annual Table with 63 points.

Boca Juniors defeated Defensa y Justicia 1-0 with a goal from Ecuadorian forward Enner Valencia in the 53rd minute to claim the 2026 Annual Table championship. The victory gave Boca 63 points, one more than Rosario Central (who beat Estudiantes de Río Cuarto 2-0) and three ahead of Argentinos Juniors (who lost 0-2 to Huracán).

This is Boca's 74th title in their history—52 domestic and 22 international—and their first championship since winning the Supercopa Argentina on March 1, 2023, against Patronato. The triumph marks the first title for Juan Román Riquelme as club president, the third for captain Leandro Paredes since his return, and the third for manager Rodolfo Arruabarrena since his comeback.

The victory qualifies Boca for the group stage of Copa Libertadores 2027 and the International Supercup against the Copa Argentina champion. Boca's next challenge is a Copa Argentina semifinal against Banfield, followed by the Copa Sudamericana final on November 21 against Atlético Mineiro in Barranquilla.
