Bowie seizing Scotland shot after World Cup disappointment

Bowie scored his first Scotland goal against North Macedonia after being omitted from the World Cup squad, bouncing back from disappointment.

Kieron Bowie, overlooked for Scotland's World Cup campaign despite scoring regularly for Hellas Verona, has made an immediate impact on his return to international football. The forward netted in a 2-0 Nations League win over North Macedonia in Skopje, marking his first goal for his country. Bowie spent time with family and on holiday after missing out on the World Cup, and has now seized the opportunity presented by new manager Stefano Pocognoli's era.
