Sebastien Pocognoli is contradiction to new-look Scotland and there's whiff of something about what he's doing

Pocognoli secured his first win as Scotland manager with a 2-0 victory over North Macedonia in the Nations League, impressing with aggressive, attacking football.

Sebastien Pocognoli claimed his first victory as Scotland manager on Saturday, defeating North Macedonia 2-0 in the Nations League. The Belgian's side dominated the match in Skopje with an aggressive, front-footed approach, recording 25 shots with 10 on target and one hitting the post—numbers rarely seen in recent Scotland records. While the scoreline could have been more emphatic, Pocognoli's tactical approach and intensity suggest promise after false starts in his opening two games against Slovenia and Switzerland.
