JJ Gabriel set to leave Man United in January as one club 'believe deal is all secured'

Real Madrid believe they are close to securing the 16-year-old prospect, who has not attended Manchester United training since requesting his release.

Manchester United youngster JJ Gabriel is set to leave Old Trafford in January, with Real Madrid reportedly confident of securing a deal for the 16-year-old forward. Gabriel, who turned 16 on October 6, has not attended Carrington for three weeks and is instead training privately in Catalonia. Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also expressed interest, but a move to Spain is the player's and his family's preference. United are considering legal action if Gabriel departs despite offering him a scholarship contract.
