'Bit more serious' – Mikel Arteta gives worrying Arsenal injury update

Hincapie and Zubimendi ruled out for Lille match after ankle injuries sustained in post-match warm-downs; Arteta awaits scans to determine absence length.

Arsenal will be without Piero Hincapie and Martin Zubimendi for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Lille after both suffered ankle injuries during post-match warm-downs following Saturday's 2-1 win over Leeds United. Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed the pair will miss the 8pm kick-off and are undergoing further scans to establish a recovery timeline. Arteta suggested Hincapie's injury appears more serious, though he was unable to provide specific absence details until scan results are reviewed.
