Athletic still without key players for Valencia visit

Athletic Club manager Edin Terzic expects Nico Williams back in training next week, but Oihan Sancet will need longer to recover; Laporte also unavailable.

Athletic Club face Valencia on Saturday with three players sidelined. Manager Edin Terzic said Nico Williams should return to training next week after a brief absence, but Oihan Sancet will take longer to recover from his injury. Aymeric Laporte was also ruled out of the squad for the Rayo Vallecano match due to illness. Terzic has begun preparing the team for the La Liga fixture at Mestalla, with Peio Canales filling in for Sancet in midfield.
