Walter Benitez could 'push' to leave Crystal Palace as new transfer plan revealed

Palace fear Benitez could seek a move away in January if Henderson returns, with Argentina and France options previously linked.

Crystal Palace are concerned that goalkeeper Walter Benitez may look to leave the club in the January transfer window once Dean Henderson returns from injury. The 33-year-old has impressed in recent performances while deputising for the injured Henderson, but faces a return to the bench when his rival recovers. Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown warned that Benitez could explore options elsewhere in search of regular first-team football. The club previously faced interest from River Plate and French clubs during the summer.
