Liverpool given Adam Wharton transfer instruction after Alex Scott £100m valuation assessed

Stan Collymore suggests Liverpool should pursue Crystal Palace's Wharton instead of Bournemouth's Scott, who carries a £100m valuation.

Former Liverpool forward Stan Collymore has advised the club to prioritise a move for Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton over Bournemouth's Alex Scott. Collymore believes Scott, valued at around £100m, is too similar to Florian Wirtz and lacks the defensive work rate Liverpool need. Wharton, an England international under contract at Palace until 2029, would better suit the Reds' midfield requirements, according to Collymore.
