Free agent Sancho could revive career in Spain

Getafe in talks with free agent Sancho after Manchester United exit, but salary cap constraints and Sancho's wage expectations could complicate deal.

Getafe has confirmed negotiations with Jadon Sancho, the 26-year-old English winger who left Manchester United on a free transfer. The Spanish club, operating under La Liga's financial oversight, faces salary cap constraints but hopes an injury to Juanmi could free up budget space. Sancho has rejected other European offers and a Saudi Arabia move this summer, but is keen to leave England. Getafe hopes to replicate Mason Greenwood's successful revival at the club, though Sancho's expectations after his lucrative United contract remain a potential obstacle.
