Jadon Sancho finally set for La Liga move following Russia snub after Man United exit
Summarised by MatchPal
Getafe have submitted an official offer to sign Sancho on a free transfer, with salary constraints the main hurdle.
Jadon Sancho, a free agent since leaving Manchester United in the summer, is in talks with La Liga side Getafe. The Spanish club have submitted an official offer to sign the 26-year-old winger on a free transfer, following his rejection by Russian side Krasnodar. Getafe plan to use a long-term injury exemption to register Sancho without breaching their salary cap, similar to how they signed Mason Greenwood from United. Sancho's wages remain the primary obstacle to completing the deal.
