Sources: Badredine Bouanani faces new Rangers 'problem' as transfer plan revealed

Bouanani's minutes remain limited at Rangers after a slow start, but the club is open to making his loan permanent via the £15.5m option to buy.

Badredine Bouanani has struggled for playing time since joining Rangers on loan from Stuttgart in the summer, starting just one game under Derek McInnes. While sources indicate his limited minutes reflect the form of teammates rather than doubts about his ability, questions have emerged about his long-term future in Glasgow. Rangers hold a £15.5 million option to buy the 21-year-old Algeria international at the end of the season and remain open to making the move permanent, though no decision is expected until later in the campaign.
