Stephen O'Donnell pleads for Motherwell calm as he reveals why club is especially lucky

Motherwell defender O'Donnell urges fans to stay calm during a four-game losing streak ahead of Saturday's trip to Kilmarnock.

Motherwell captain Stephen O'Donnell has called for patience from the club's supporters as the Steelmen struggle through a four-game losing run in the Scottish Premiership. The experienced defender acknowledged the financial constraints of being a fan-owned club and the difficulty of competing in the transfer market after losing key players. O'Donnell believes the mood among supporters needs to remain positive to help the team turn things around, with Motherwell hoping to end their poor form when they visit former club Kilmarnock on Saturday.
