Summarised by MatchPal
Chelsea won 2-0 at Everton, their first Premier League victory north of the Midlands since August 2022, ending a 1,532-day drought at the ground.
Chelsea secured a 2-0 away win at Everton with goals from Pedro Neto in the 45th minute and late in the match, climbing to fourth in the Premier League table. The victory marked a significant milestone: Chelsea's first meaningful Premier League win north of the Midlands since early August 2022, ending a 1,532-day drought at grounds including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds, Sunderland and Everton. Manager Xabi Alonso was struck by the statistic that Chelsea had managed just two goals in their previous nine visits to Everton.
