Napoli suffers worst season start in 25 years: Allegri calls for patience

Napoli's worst start in 25 years sees them lose five of nine games; Allegri calls for patience as injuries mount.

Napoli are enduring their worst season start since 2001/02, having lost five of their opening nine official matches. The Serie A champions have managed just one point from their last three away league games and are struggling defensively while failing to convert chances. Manager Massimiliano Allegri faces mounting pressure but is urging calm, emphasizing the need to work through the crisis with the current squad. Injuries to David Neres and uncertainty over Alisson Santos' fitness are compounding the problems.
