Allegri risks missing Juve: Napoli appeals to have him at the Stadium

Allegri banned for two matches after Roma red card; Napoli appeals to get him back for Juventus clash at the Stadium on Sunday.

Massimiliano Allegri has been suspended for two matches following his dismissal in Napoli's match against Roma. The disciplinary ruling cited disrespectful language toward match officials at the 45-minute mark of the second half, plus aggressive conduct toward an opposing club official in the dressing room afterward. The ban rules him out of tomorrow's trip to Monza and Sunday's fixture against Juventus at the Stadium—a significant blow given his history with the Bianconeri.

Napoli has immediately filed an urgent appeal against the suspension, hoping to reduce it by at least one game so Allegri can be on the bench for the Juventus encounter. Assistant coach Marco Landucci will take charge against Monza in the interim. Landucci has previously deputized for Allegri on around ten occasions across his time at Cagliari, Milan and Juventus, posting a record of seven wins and three defeats.
