Liverpool injury update: Szoboszlai, Frimpong latest news and return dates

Szoboszlai reaggravated his hamstring after 30 minutes; Frimpong injured after six minutes off the bench in Liverpool's 2-1 win at Brentford.

Liverpool suffered two injury setbacks in their 2-1 victory over Brentford on Saturday. Dominik Szoboszlai, who had returned to the starting XI after missing matches with a hamstring problem, was forced off after just 30 minutes having reaggravated the same injury. Manager Iraola confirmed post-match that Szoboszlai remains unhealed and faces a lengthy spell sidelined. Jeremie Frimpong, introduced at half-time, lasted only six minutes before sustaining an injury. With Villarreal, Brighton, and a Carabao Cup tie against Chelsea coming up in the next nine days, Liverpool's injury concerns are mounting.
